I absolutely LOVED working with this couple! Just like their long distance romance, we planned most of this wedding long distance from NJ and then Florida when Bo got stationed there 1/2 way thru the planning process.
Paige wanted a classic and vintage wedding style but honestly, other than colors, didn’t have too many ideas at first. As I got to know them better and their love story the ideas started to flow! When Bo was stationed out at sea for long lengths of time they would send love letters back and forth so we decided to play off of the ideas of travel and love letters.
The majority of the guests would also be traveling in from all over the country so we provided room blocks and buses to get them to and from their hotels. We also curated a fun “Welcome to Baltimore” bag with lots of Maryland treats!
This whole family was so incredibly gracious and lovely. So much love surrounded this couple on their wedding day. One of the CUTEST details was the ring-bearer wore the same outfit that the groom had worn many years ago for another family member’s wedding!
One of Paige’s bridesmaid designed her invitation suite with a map background and the RSVP card was designed to look like a postcard.
For the “guest book” I designed and styled a table with a vintage typewriter and an antique apothecary piece from White Glove Rentals. Guests could sign the vintage postcards and leave their own love notes & wishes for the new bride and groom!
For the favors we did vintage typewriter key magnets that spelled the word “LOVE” and Bo’s brother provided small bottles of wine that he made himself! It really was delicious!
The seating chart assignments were mounted inside a large vintage frame in which I lined with a background of vintage postcard paper and styled with greenery, vintage suitcases and a globe.
One last touch was a beautiful photo-op area where I had Stacy Bowen Floral Designs attach greenery all around a photography backdrop stand and I added a few more vintage suitcases, one filled with fun photo-props. The guest loved this!
We had fun food stations created by Rouge Caterers and then Cake by Jason Hisley made a cutting cake and his incredible cupcakes for dessert.
I was so grateful that Brooke Michelle Photography was able to capture the room reveal. These pictures are so priceless to me!
The Bachelor Boys had the dance floor full all night long. One of my TOP favorite parent dances to date! Such an incredibly gracious and fun bridal party and family. I was so honored to be part of this true celebration of love!
Grateful for this incredible group of vendors below… because it TRULY take s a village!
